Los yesos y ortesis funcionales para el tratamiento de las fracturas de húmero, han demostrado unos resultados clínicos radiográficos finales buenos y esperanzadores cuando contemos con una casuística más numerosa. Las ventajas más ostensibles son: Estabilidad del foco de fractura, consolidaciones precoces (6-8 semanas), libre movilidad de todas las articulaciones, y una excepcional propiedad, la de aumentar el poder de. la contracción muscular, por lo que el período rebabilitador es inexistente. |

The functional casts and orthotics (plastic braces) for the treatment of fractures of the humerus have demonstrated more good and hopeful clinicalradiografic end-results when we count on more numerous case-histories. The most ostensible advantages are: stability of the focus of the fracture, early consolidation (6-8 weeks), free movement in aH joints, and an exceptional property in the increase of muscular contraction for which the rehabilitation period is non-existente |
