El tratamiento de la pseudoartrosis del escafoides carpiano debe buscar la restauración anatómica, la reconstrucción del defecto óseo y la fijación rígida. Presentamos la revisión de 13 casos de pseudoartrosis de escafoides carpiano tratadas con autoinjerto y tornillo de Herbert, con seguimiento medio de 4 años. Se ha valorado la antigüedad de la pseudoartrosis, el tipo, la localización, la necrosis del polo proximal, la deformidad y la estabilidad. La consolidación se obtuvo en el 84% de los casos, con un tiempo medio de 4,3 meses. Quedaron asintomáticos 7 pacientes, 3tenían dolor en los últimos grados de movimiento, y 3 presentaban dolor al esfuerzo. |
Summary: |
The treatment of scaphoid non-union must obtain anatomic restoration, filling of the defect and rigid fixation. We present 13 cases treated with allograft and fixation with Herbert screw with a mean follow-up of 4-years. The assessment included duration of pseudoarthrosis, classification and localisation, necrosis of the proximal pole, deformity and stability. Healing was achieved in 84% of the cases in a mean time of 4,3 months. Seven patients were symptoms-free, 3 had pain with forced motion and 3 had pain with efforts. |
