Sin embargo, puede comprometer la realización de pruebas diagnósticas agresivas dado su desconocimiento y similitud con enfermedades más graves. El objetivo de este trabajo es presentar el caso de un varón de 13 años con enfermedad de Van Neck Odelberg, así como su dificultoso diagnóstico y consecuencias ante el desconocimiento de esta patología |

Van Neck Odelberg disease is a rare and benign pathology. However, it can mislead to aggressive diagnostic tests given its similarity to more serious diseases.The aim of this paper is to present the case of a 13-year-old male affected by Van Neck Odelberg disease, as well as his diagnosis and the consequences of the misinterpretation of this pathology’s symptoms |
