Resumen:
 Treinta pacientes con pseudoartrosis de la diáfisis humeral fueron tratados mediante reducción abierta y fijación con una placa de compresión dinámica cuando la fractura se localizaba en los dos tercios superiores de la diáfisis humeral, y con 2 placas de reconstrucción cuando se localizaba en el tercio distal de la diáfisis. Se añadió injerto de hueso en todos los pacientes. La consolidación se logró en todos los casos. El tiempo medio de unión fue 4,7 meses (4-6). El rango de movilidad del hombro fue excelente en 20 pacientes y moderado en 10. El rango de movilidad del codo fue excelente en 21 pacientes y moderado en 9. Los resultados funcionales fueron excelentes en 17 pacientes, buenos en 9 y regulares en 4.
Summary:
 Thirty patients with humeral shaft non-unions were treated by open reduction and internal fixation with a dynamic compression plate when the facture was located in the two upper thirds of the humeral shaft, and with two reconstruction plates when it was located in the distal third of the humeral shaft. Bone graft was added in all patients. Union was achieved in all cases. The mean healing time was 4,7 months (4-6). The range of motion of the shoulder was excellent in 20 patients and moderate in 10. The range of motion of the elbow was excellent in 21 patients and moderate in 9. The functional results were excellent in 17 patients, good in 9, and fair in 4.
