Se analizan los resultados de la exploración con gamagrafía con 99mTc-metildifosfonato en 34 pacientes de necrosis idiopática de cabeza de fémur, en 11 de los cuales la afectación es bilateral, en relación en la evolución histopatológica del proceso. En las fases avanzadas la positividad de la exploración es muy alta, pero en los estadios precoces tiene mucho más valor para la elección del tratamiento, particularmente eh los casos bilaterales. |
Summary: |
The results of the bone sean with a 99 mTc-Diphosphonate, on 34 patients with idiopatic femur necrosis -11 of them with bilateral affectation-, are commented. The factors which influence the bone scan findings in case of femoral necrosis and the relation with the histopatological evolution of the progress are discussed. The importance of early diagnolsis of femoral idiopatic necrosis permits conservative treatment and therefore it should be an interesting bone sean in the treatment of these patients. |
