Resumen:
 Los autores exponen los resultados del tratamiento ambulatorio de la enfermedad de Perthes en 50 enfermos comprendidos en edades de dos a siete años. Con el fin de omitir errores interpretativos, se han convertido las imágenes radiológicas de las caderas tratadas en cifras absolutas, buscando para ello el Cociente Epifisario de Sjovall, y el Cociente de Superficie Articular de Meyer. Tabulando estas cifras con la edad de los pacientes al inicio de los síntomas y con los grupos de Catterall.
Con este sistema se puede etiquetar los resultados, en el momento del alta primaria, como buenos, regulares y malos. De esta rnanera se orienta el pronóstico en la evolución de las caderas enfermas.
Este trabajo ha sido realizado en el Servicio de Ortopedia del Hospital Infantil de la Ciudad Sanitaria Francisco Franco, de Barcelona.
Summary:
 The authors present the results of the out-patient treatment of Perthes' Disease in 50 patients between the ages of  2 and 7 years.
To avoid interpretation errors the radiologic images of the treated hips have been transformed into arithmetical data, using Sjovall's Epiphisary Quotient and Mayer's Articular Surface Quotient. These figures have been tabulated with the age of the patients at the onset symptoms and with Catterall's groups.
With this system, we can classify the resuIts at the time of the first cure as, good, medium and poor.
In this way, we are oriented towards a prognosis in the evolution of the affected bips.
This work has been carried out in the Orthopaedic Departament of the Children's Hospital 01 the «Ciudad Sanitaria Francisco Franco» 01 Barcelona.
