Entre las numerosas complicaciones descritas en el postoperatorio de las artroplastias totales de cadera, merecen un estudio especial, por su frecuencia y ravedad, los tromboembolismos. El cirujano ortopédico no está familiarizado con los métodos profilácticos recomendados, por lo que en el presente trabajo se hace una revisión bibliográfica sobre las pautas recomendadas habitualmente y divididas en mecánicas o farmacológicas. Entre ellas encontramos útiles los métodos mecánicos, el dextrano y la heparina cálcica o sódica administrada subcutáneamente. Cualquiera de ellos descienden, según los autores revisados, la frecuencia de presentación de esta complicación pero futuros estudios deben decidir cuál método farmacológico es más beneficioso asociado a los mecánicos, presentando escasas contraindicaciones con cómoda adminitración. |

Between the numerous complications described in the postoperatory of the Total Hip Arthroplasty, deserve aD special study, by your frecueiDcy and gravity, the ThrOlt11boembolism. The Orthopaedic Surgeon is not familiarised with the prophylactic methods recommended and in. the present work we do a bibliographic revision on the guide indicated frequently and separate in mechanical and pharlnacological methods. Between of this we meet useful the mechanical methods, the Dextran and the Calcium or Sodium Heparin managed subcutaneously. Any of this disminish, according to the autors, the frequency of the presentation of this complicacion, but futures sudies must decide the pharmacological method more appropiate associated to the mechanical method, with rare contraindications and confortable management. |
