Los autores presentan dos casos de parálisis del nervio interóseo posterior del antebrazo, cuya etiología fue en un caso la compresión por un lipoma paraóseo de la extremidad superior del radio; en otro, se debió con muchas posibilidades a la compresión del nervio por el borde tenso del músculo segundo radial externo. El abordaje y liberación quirúrgica del nervio interóseo posterior permitió su curación. Se aprovecha para hacer una revisión de la literatura sobre esta rara parálisis, insistiendo en sus aspectos etiológicos, clínicos y terapéuticos. |
Summary: |
The authors present two cases of paralysis of the posterior interoseous nerve of the forearm, the etiology of which was due to compression by a parosteal lipoma oí the superior extremity of the radius. In the other case it was very probably due to compression of the nerve by the tense edge of the extensor carpi radialis brevis muscle. The approach and surgical freeing of the posterior interosseous nerve cured the patients. We take this opportunity to review the literature on this rare paralysis, with special reference to the etiological, clinical and therapeutic aspects. |
