Resumen:
 La luxación traumática de la cadera en la infancia es rara, en especial su variedad obturatriz.
Los casos publicados en la literatura de luxación obturatriz no reducidos o antiguos han sido tratados mediante osteotomía trocantérea, por el riesgo de necrosis cefálica avascular. En el caso presentado por los autores se demuestra que la reducción cruenta, al cabo de un mes de producida la lesión, no es causa de necrosis avascular.
Summary:
 ''The traumatic dislocation of the hip in young people is uncomon above all the obturator type. Few cases have been recorded and were treated by subtrocanteric osteoomy in order to prevent necrosis of the head.
The reported case was treated by open reduction, with neither inmediate nor late avascular necrosis of the head of the femur. The revision of the patient after four years confirmed this.
