Resumen: |
Las fracturas en manguito de la rótula son lesiones infrecuentes. Tienen lugar en niños y se caracterizan porque uno de los fragmentos de la fractura está compuesto total o parcialmente por cartílago, pudiendo pasar inadvertido. Se aportan dos casos (uno del polo proximal de la rótula y otro del polo distal) remarcando que la presencia de tumefacción de partes blandas tras un traumatismo indirecto de rodilla puede producir esta lesión, necesitando un examen clínico y radiológico cuidadoso para un diagnóstico temprano. |
Summary: |
The sleeve fracture of the patella is a not often injury. It happens ¡n childhood when one of the fragments of the fracture is composed all or almost all by cartilage, been frequently misdiagnosed. We reporttwo cases (one of the proximal part of the patella and other of the distal one) remembering that swelling after an ¡ndirecttrauma in the knee can hide this injury, needing to examínate clinically and by X-rays carefully to do a early diagnosis. |
