Se presenta la revisión de 25 casos, de edades varias, afectos de dismetría de miembros inferiores secundaria a poliomielitis, tratados por la técnica de Anderson Mitchell de alargamiento de tibia. Se analizan los tipos de osteotomía, la asociación o no de decorticación u otras intervenciones (alargamientos musculares simultáneos). Coincidiendo con las estadísticas revisadas de otros autores, ésta se muestra como un tipo de intervención con complicaciones no desdeñables, cuyo repaso obliga a recordar la necesidad de una vigilancia diaria esmerada. |
Summary: |
Twenty five cases have been examined and presented, of various ages, affected with dismetry of the inferior extremitys secondary to poliomielitis, treated with the Anderson-Mitchell tecnique of elongation of the tibia. In the revision we have anylized the types of osteotomy, the association or no of decortication or other interventions (simultaneous muscular elongation). Our researsh coincides with the statistics of other authors. This intervention show how an sugical intervention with complications is not unimportant in which we are reminded of the necessity of daily strict vigilance. |
