Resumen:
 Se presentan cinco casos de equinococosis ósea de afectación exclusiva, destacando una localización costal no frecuente y otra intertrocantérea unilocular, de
difícil diagnóstico preoperatorio. Se comentan las características clínicas y radiológicas y la frecuente necesidad de una comprobación anatomopatológica para su diagnóstico, al que se llega de una forma casual o por la aparición de secuelas, su jndicación quirúrgica debe ser precoz y su posible diagnóstico siempre presente en las áreas geográficas más o menos endémicas como la muestra.
Summary:
 Five cases of echinococcosis of the bone are reported, one of them with an uncommon localisation on the rib and another one in the intertrochanterea area, with a problematic diagnosis.
The clinical and radiological signes are considered. An early surgical treatment is advised in all cases as much as possible and the diagnosis will be present in our geographic area where this disease is endemic.
