Los autores exponen su experiencia en el tratamiento de la luxación congénita de la cadera. El tratamiento, minucioso y delicado, intenta evitar los riesgos de osteocondritis secundaria, reduccional. Se analizan los diversos tratamientos, antes de la presentación de la cojera, en el momento en que el niño inicia la marcha, y en las luxaciones de niños mayores, antes de la aparición de la artrosis secundaria. En las formas difíciles, se valoran los procedimientos ortopédicos, menos agresivos pero largos, y los quirúrgicos que, realizados adecuadamente, acortarán los períodos de tratamiento. Finalmente, se contempla la organización de la prevención, sobre las bases de un diagnóstico precoz, y los tratamientos neonatales, no por tempranos más fáciles. |
Summary: |
The authors experience on the treatment of Congenital Luxation of the Heap is analyzed in order to prevent the most important complication: Osteochondrytis. The treatment followed in different moments: in pre-walking infants, in children and in the older children, are discussed. In the difficult cases the surgical treatment gave better results than the long orthopaedic treatment. The authors emphasize on the organisation for prevention, early diagnosis and the most important: the treatment during the first weeks of the life. |
