Resumen: |
La autotransfusión con donación preoperatoria se ha considerado la mejor opción entre las medidas de ahorro de sangre alogénica. Nosotros nos planteamos revisar cuales eran las actitudes y realidades transfusionales en prótesis totales de rodilla valorando dos grupos de pacientes en los que se había realizado ó no la predonación de sangre. La comparación de los resultados nos lleva a plantearnos que quizá en las prótesis totales de rodilla sean otros los mejores caminos para el ahorro de transfusiones en esta patología. Ese es actualmente nuestro camino. |
Summary: |
The autologous blood predonation has been considered the best strategy among the possibilities to minimize homologous blood transfusión. We evaluted two group of patients who suffered programmed total knee arthroplasty; one wit autologous predonation and the other without ¡t; ¡n order to observe which was the reality about transfusión. Perhaps they can be other better procedures to minimize homologous blood transfusión in total knee arthroplasties. We are working with this idea now. |
