Hemos podido controlar diez pacientes intervenidos en nuestro Servicio por luxación recidivante de hombro mediante la combinación de la técnica de Bankart v Putti-Plat. En ningún caso ha habido reluxación y ¡'os resultados funcionales han sido muy aceptables (únicamente cierta limitación a la rotación externa en menos del 50 por 100 de los casos). Hacemos una revisión bibliográfica sohre las distintas teorías etiopatogénicas encontrando que no puede hablarse de un sólo factor causal. Hemos hallado en el 50 por 100 de nuestros pacientes laxitud ligamentosa a otros niveles (tobillos. muñecas. codos. rodillas) y creemos que éste puede ser el dustrato base en algunos individuos. |

Ten cases of recurrent dislocation of the shoulder operated with the 8ankart and PuttiPlat combined techniques are reported, The functional resuIts were very good in all cases. 50% showed sorne Iimitation of the externa] rotation. To the authors' opinion there is more than onc cause for this disorder; however, 5()fYlI showed laxity in someother joints (ankIes, wrists, elbows, kness), it might be considcred a basic factor. |
