Resumen: |
Se estudian 12 pacientes a los que se les realizó una artroplastia total de cadera en sustitución de una artrodesis previa. La causa fundamental de la indicación quirúrgica fue el dolor en la rodilla homolateraL cadera contralateral y raquis lumbar. La antigüedad de la anquilosis osciló entre l y SO años: el seguimiento de los pacientes entre I"S y 7 años, De los 12 pacientes, 8 se consideran buenos resultados y 3 regulares (un paciente no acudió a revisión). Entre las complicaciones se destaca por su frecuencia las disrnetrias, que oscilan entre 1'3 a 6 cm. |
Summary: |
Twelve total hip replacements were performed in patients with had previous arthrodesis between 1 and 50 years before. Pain in the ipsilateral knee and on the other hip and lower back were the most frequent symptorns. The follow-up was from 1''5 year to 7 ycars. Eight of the patients had fulI functional results. The most common sequel was lenght discrepancy between 3 to 6 cm. |
