Se presenta una serie de 161 casos de síndrome subacromial tratados quirúrgicamente mediante acromioplastia abierta. Los resultados del tratamiento son buenos normalmente. Se analizan los diversos factores clínicos que han influido en la calidad de los resultados. Los autores observan que la edad y el sexo de los pacientes pueden verse relacionados con el resultado del tratamiento. También el dolor y la movilidad preoperatorias pueden influir en dichos resultados. |
Summary: |
A series of 161 cases of shoulder impingement syndrome treated surgically by means of open acromioplasty is presented. The results of this treatment are good generally. There are analyzed the diverse clinical factors that have influenced in the quality of the results. The authors observe that the age and the sex of the patients can be seen related to the result of the treatment. Also, preoperative pain and mobility of the shoulder can influence the above mentioned results. |
