Resumen: |
Se recogen 57 pacientes afectos de fractura aislada de olécranon, lo que permite concluir que es la fractura más frecuente del antebrazo en varones de 20 a 30 años. presentándose en las mujeres en edades más avanzadas. El tipo más frecuente es la fractura del cuerpo del olécranon, en el 7 por 100 asociada a luxaciones. El tratamiento fue quirúrgico, por cerclaje apoyado con dos agujas de Kirschner. |
Summary: |
Fifty-seven patients affected from an only fracture of olecranon are collected. It is the most frequent fracture of the forearm in, ales in the second decade of life, while it is more frequent in older women. The most usual level is the middle part of the olecranon. The 7 % of the cases were associated with dislocation. The treatment was surgical, reduction with fixation supported by two Kirschner wires. |
