Se presentan la técnica y los resultados obtenidos con la maniobra de elevación anterior (Cooper) para la reducción de la luxación anterior escápula-humeral. Su facilidad, inocuidad, ausencia de dolor. por lo que no es necesaria inicialmente la anestesia general, y precisar para su realización de un sólo cirujano. con un 64 por 100 de reducciones sin anestesia y un 76 por 100 en total. la hacen recomendable como primera actitud terapéutica. |

The technique and results obtained with the Cooper''s forward elevation maneuver for anterior dislocations of thc shoulder are reported. The maneuver is reccomended because of its simplicity and inocuity, and because it is unpainful and only one surgeon is required, with 64% of reductions obtained wirhour general anaesthesia, and 76% if anaesthesized patients are included. |
