Resumen:
 Se presentan 15 casos de fracturas de fémur tratados mediante enclavijamiento intramedular con cerrojo, utilizando la técnica de Kempf y Grosse.
Se trata de un buen método para tratar las fracturas femorales que no puedan ser resueltas mediante el enclavijamiento clásico de Küntscher.
Se analiza la biomecánica y se comentan las posibles modificaciones del montaje para hacerlo más sólido y estable.
Summary:
 Fifteen femoral shaft fractures treated with interlocking nailing . Kempf and Grosse's technique are collected.
This procedure is suitable for sorne femoral fractures which could not be treated with the usual Küntscher's method.
The biomechanical conditions of Kempf's system improved the results: the fixation is solid and stable.
