Presentación clínica de un caso de Osteoblastoma Benigno, en un paciente de 15 años, localizado en el pedículo derecho de L3, acompañado de escoliosis con la concavidad de la curva hacia el lado de la lesión y un intervalo de tiempo entre el inicio de los síntomas y el diagnóstico de tres meses. Se realiza una resección en bloque, mediante hemilaminectomía derecha, y liberación de las raíces L2 y L3, con un resultado espectacular del cuadro clínico. |
Summary: |
A case of Bening Osteoblastoma of the lumbar spine is reported. The patient, a fifteen-years old boy, presented a lumbar scoliosis with the concavity at the same side of the pedicle atTected (L3). Pain was the main symptom since three months before the diagnosis. A posterior approach was required, right laminectomy with complete removal of neoplastic tissue and release of the roots L2 and L3. After the surgery, the patient is free of symptoms and has no evidende of reeurrence. |
