Los autores efectúan un análisis crítico de los diferentes tratamientos, conservador, osteotomías, de Salter, Chiari, y osteotomía femoral, efectuadas en un grupo de 25 pacientes vistos desde 1975 hasta 1985. Se efectúan evaluaciones de los resultados obtenidos clínica y radiológicamente, con una media de seguimiento de 26'5 meses. Para ello emplean los criterios de Catterall, Ducken y Melenaus. Los casos no tratados resultaron los de peor evolución. El tratamiento de elección en el Perthes tipo 1es el conservador. En los tipos 11 y m, la osteotomía femoral. |

After preliminary introduction regarding the treatment of Perthes' disease, a critical study of 25 cases diagnosed between 1975 andJ985 was made at the hospitals of N. a S. a de La Candelaria and Clínico Universitario of Canarias. The diferent treatments were conservative, Salter's... Chiari's and femoral osteotomíes. Clinical and radiological evaluation of the results were carried out after intervals of treatment ranging from 6 to 91 months, the average being 26,5 months. The f'ollowed Catterall's, Ducken's and Melenaus' criteria for c1inical and radiological evaluation. The cases which did not receive treatment obtained the worst results. In Perthes' type I the treatment of choice is conservative in Perthes' type II and III femoral osteotomy. |
