Los autores presentan en este trabajo la sistemática de tratamiento incruento utilizada por ellos en el pie valgo flexible infantil, considerando dos factores: a) El grado de la deformidad del pie valgo. b) La edad del niño, distinguiendo en ella dos períodos diferentes, niños de 1 a 3 años y desde los 3 a los 10 aftoso De acuerdo con estos factores, establecemos unos tipos estándar de pie valgo, adaptando a cada uno de ellos una pauta de tratamiento. La maniobra de corrección del valgo de talón descrita por Fonseca y Oliva, la consideramos como un parámetro fiable para predecir el resultado a obtener con el tratamiento incruento de un determinado pie. Enumeran una serie de condiciones que pueden influir de forma favorable o desfavorable en el resultado del tratamiento conservador. |
Summary: |
The authors report on a plan of conservative management used in the treatment of chíldren with flexible flatfoot. Two factors must be evaluated, a) The degree of flatfoot deformity. b) The children's ages, divided into 2 age groups, one to three years and lthree to ten years of age, With these factors they can establish different types of flatfoot deformity and specific management in each type. Specíal evaluatíon was given to the test to correct the valgus of the heel in stand digitigrade., This method makes it possible to predict the resuIts obtainable with onservative management (which are flatfoot that will remaín flat and become painful in aduIthood). The resuIt of nonoperative treatment can be subordinate to several circunstances. |
