Entre los sistemas de osteosíntesis, la fijación elástica que permite pequeños movimientos, no lesiona el periostio y favorece la acción inmovilizadora de los grupos musculares, ocupa un lugar importante entre las técnicas en traumatología infantil. Desde hace algunos años estos sistemas se están utilizando cada vez más en el adulto, incluso para fracasos de otros métodos de tratamiento en traumatología. Se repasan en este trabajo los fundamentos tanto biomecánicos como osteogénicos del sistema de fijación elástica y se relacionan las ventajas e inconvenientes referidas en la bibliografía. |
Summary: |
Among the different methods of ostheosynthesis, the elastic fixación (nailing) than allow small movernents, don''t hurt the periosteum and help the action ofimmobilization by the muscular groups, it occupy an important place among the differences techniques of paediatric traumatology. Since sorne years ago these systems have been used every time more in adults, included in failure of others methods of treatment. The author mades a review of biomechanical and ostegenic basis of the elastic fixation and their advantages and inconvenients reported in the literature. |
