Resumen:
 La necrosis isquémica de la cabeza femoral (NICF) presenta cierta dificultad
de diagnóstico cuando se encuentra en la fase prerradiológica. En la actualidad, la
Resonancia Nuclear Magnética, la Gammagrafía y la Exploración Funcional Osea están
demostrando ser los métodos más adecuados para llegar a un diagnóstico precoz. Los autores
ofrecen un análisis sobre la utilidad de éstos y de otros métodos diagnósticos utilizados en la
NICF, sin olvidar aspectos básicos como la clínica y la radiología convencional.
Summary:
 The ischaemic necrosis of the femoral head (INFH) offers difficulties
in the diagnosis when radiological signs have not appeared yet. Actually, the
Magnetic Resonance Imaging, the Scintigraphy and the Functional Exploration of
the Bone are being accepted as the most adecuate methods in the early diagnosis. The
authors present an analysis about the utility of those and other methods of diagnosis
used in the INFH, no forgetting some basic aspects like the symptomatology or the
radiology.
