Resumen: |
La cirugía ortopédica se encuentra hoy en situación de cambio a nivel técnico, profesional, de información, y también de formación y adiestramiento. La formación del futuro médico y especialista no es satisfactoria, existiendo puntos negros que deben ser eliminados y cambiados, empezando por la enseñanza del aparato locomotor en las facultades de medicina y continuando con la formación del especialista. El exceso de horas en el hospital del residente ha orientado su reducción en favor de mayor descanso y mejor formación y adiestramiento. Se analizan las denominadas competencias introducidas recientemente en América (USA, Canadá) y su interés en este sentido; también, la necesidad de educación médica continuada hasta llegar a la recertificación. Finalmente, existe un lamento sobre la falta de investigación entre los médicos jóvenes; también se analizan las características del liderazgo, siempre con una base de mejor atención al paciente y a los problemas de la sociedad que nos faculta para ejercer la profesión. |
Summary: |
The orthopaedic surgery have today a position of change, not only at technical, professional, informative change, but also educational and training level. The education of future doctors and specialists is not satisfactory because of the presence of black points that must be eliminated or change through best educational situation at the medicine school and hospitals. The resident at present time remains a lot of hours working at the hospital, without best rest and formation; this situation must be reduced, for best education and training. The competences are offered like are introduced in America (USA, Canada), intending improvement, as well the continuous medical education up to have recertification. Finally, the author deplore the lack of investigation among residents; also, the characteristic of leadership are analysed, always under the foundation of better attention to the patient and pay attention to the problems of our society. |
